In addition to studies in history and accounting, I've done graduate study in transportation and comparative frontier history. I dropped out of public accounting some time back, served briefly as CFO for a health-care firm, and have been at the Office of Archaeological Studies since 1995.
When not crunching the office numbers, I enjoy classical music, rail travel, reading history and biography, writing poetry, and driving autocross. I never studied archaeology, but in my years at OAS have learned a fair amount about archaeologists, enjoyed their company, and probably picked up a few of their traits along the way.
